Long time no see

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

For once it’s not because I’ve sunk into a depressive pit (although that does happen occasionally), but it’s because I’ve actually been busy having a life!!

I started college on the 19th of September and have since been busy being an International Ambassador (Helping out the exchange students in English classes and outside of classes too) and generally engaging in student life. No drinking sociably yet, just occasionally on my own where it feels safe.

I’m currently on half term and as much as I want to say that I’m enjoying the break and relaxing, I can’t. I’m busy reading, annotating, writing… Doing all sorts. I’m even (finally) managing to have some time to work on some gifts for my friends (that I need to send before Christmas….. Wish me luck, eh?).

I’m quite content with where I am right now. I’ve made friends at college and I get along with my classmates. I’ve also gone out a lot more so when I’m not resting or working I’m hanging out with people. Imagine! I have somewhat of a social life! 🙂

I’m not going to get all deep, I have a separate post for that. Hopefully, that’ll get written up soon… I’ve been writing it since September and then college hit… I’ve not had time for any of my old activities! I’ve not even had the chance to work on my Korean… I think I’m slacking a lot in that department.

I’ve also been to the university open day again and goodness, I really want to go there. This year we looked at the accommodation and it was really good! I think that if I work really hard over this year then I’ll be able to go to that university. I just need to write a personal statement and work on getting the grades required of me. I think it’s achievable! 😀

Hmm, what else… I’m sure that I meant to write a post all about my trip to Korea, and I might still write that when I have time. I want to reminisce a lot about it… I already think about that trip so often – especially now that I have pictures of the friends I met there on my wall!!

Well, I think that’s all for now. I want to shout out to Hannah for giving me the inspiration for writing again and a shoutout to the lovely Korean students who are in photography and film who are making me want to pick up my camera again. You have no idea how much I am grateful.
